How we work
In plain words: what we collect and why, the rules we keep, and how we hold local partners to a standard.
What we are
is a free matching service. You tell us about a vehicle once. We pass the request to one independent local partner at a time: a mobile mechanic, a tow operator or a buyer. You never pay us. Partners pay us a flat fee only when they choose to take your request. We take no share of any sale, tow price or repair price, and we do not set prices. That fee is how the service is paid for.
Rules we keep
- You never pay us, and you should never pay anyone before the work or pickup.
- Your request is seen by one partner at a time. It is not blasted to a list of companies.
- Your name and phone are shown only to the partner who takes your request.
- Estimates are not final until the vehicle is seen in person, and no price increase should happen without your approval.
- No pressure tactics, no fake countdowns, no invented reviews.
- We do not sell or rent your personal details.
- You can ask us to delete your request at any time.
What we collect and why
- Your request: name, phone, ZIP, vehicle details, problems, notes and photos. To match you with a partner who can help.
- Your consent: the exact wording you agreed to and when. So there is a record of what you said yes to.
- How far you get in the form: an anonymous count of which step people reach, with no name or answers attached. To find out where the form is confusing.
- How it went: if you give an email, we may ask twice after a partner takes your request whether they contacted you, showed up, and whether the price changed. To keep partners honest.
- Where requests come from: counts by area, with no names. To decide where to add partners.
The check-in emails
If you gave an email, about a day after a partner takes your request we ask one question: did they contact you? If nobody did, you can ask us to offer your request to another partner. About a week later we ask three short questions: what happened, did they show up, and was the final price different from the estimate. Your answers stay with us. We do not send them to the partner or share your contact details. Reply STOP to any check-in and we will stop.
How we hold partners to a standard
- Partners must confirm they are insured, licensed or registered where the law requires, and that they will give written estimates, get your approval before any increase, and never ask for money before pickup. We may ask for proof.
- Partners pay from a prepaid balance, so they have something at stake before they contact you.
- If customers report problems, we warn the partner. After repeated reports we pause new requests to them while we review, and we can remove them.
What we cannot do
Partners are independent businesses. We do not do the work, set the price, supervise repairs or guarantee anyone will contact you or show up. We can screen, set standards, listen to customers and act on what we hear.
Tell us about a problem
If a partner did not contact you, changed the price without your approval, or asked for money in advance, tell us at . Include the date and the vehicle so we can find your request.
